Kabali truly astonished the trade with superb collections on day one for the overseas release. It has collected a whopping $3.29 Million for Thursday, Friday and Saturday in United States showing how massive a hit it is, in overseas though majority collections are from Tamil version.
All is fine up to this angle. There is one more angle to Kabali’s collections. The Hindi version was sold out for Rs.35 crore due to the hype it had created before release. But the opening day collections are scaring the buyers. It’s like living a nightmare for them.
Kabali’s Hindi version collected only Rs.5 crore on the opening day which is too far from the price it was bought for. Kabali had collected 15 cr on the opening weekend from Hindi version. With the kind of talk and reviews for Hindi version, it seems to be a distant thing to even reach near Rs. 30 crore mark. Can the buyers recover from this scare?
