Jayalalithaa refuses to send Diwali wishesFormer Chief Minister Jayalalithaa not even once missed to send Diwali wishes in the past 25 years but she refused to do it this year. Sources suggest she met her replacement, current CM of the state Paneer Selvam for a brief while and gave no clue out where she was after their meeting.

Jayalalithaa announced Rs 3 Lakh to each family who lost their lives either by committing suicide or died due to the shock after hearing the court judgement. She even wrote letters to film star Rajnikanth and Menka Gandhi after she came out on bail thanking them for their support. But no one has any clue about why ‘Amma’ refused to come out in open to send Diwali wishes. And the funny part is present Chief Minister too did not even wish the people of the state as they believe there is no reason to celebrate Diwali after her release on bail.

While granting the bail, Supreme court passed strict instructions to submit appeal papers by December 18th and court will not grant a single extra day for adjournments in the Karnataka High Court.
