Jagan leisurely responds on Srisailam Power issuePolitical opponents of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy call him and KCR as the brothers but from different mothers alleging that they both work together to combat their common enemy, Chandrababu Naidu.

Similarly Jagan has this habit of responding very less against KCR or his party or now his government. When the issue of Telangana overusing the water of Srisailam Left Canal is storming headlines of both the states for more than a week, Jagan has leisurely responded on this issue on Friday.

Jagan has written a letter to the Prime Minister requesting him to restrain KCR government from using Srisailam water for power generation. He also requested Modi to create a permanent mechanism to resolve the inter-state power issues. Jagan who recently revived his party in Telangana requested the Center to allot some power to the state to solve its power woes. Telangana has a generating capacity of 900 MW from Srisailam Left Canal and if it starts using the full capacity, about five TMC of water per day will be going down to the sea which will leave no drinking water to Rayalaseema and some parts of Telangana in the coming summer.
