After Bollywood heroines Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha, now it’s the luck of ‘Legend’ heroine Radhika Apte to romance superstar Rajnikanth in his next movie to be directed by Ranjith. This movie had been in buzz as no-heroine movie earlier but the ongoing selection of heroine for Rajnikanth speaks otherwise.
After Radhika Apte’s performance oriented roles in Hindi, Bengali and Marathi movies received good appreciation from critics and audiences alike, Radhika’s selection to Rajnikanth’s movie is considered to be her big-ticket movie so far. If her present selection of movies are going to be taken into consideration, one would expect a performance oriented role for her alongside the superstar.
Rajni-Ranjith’s movie is tentatively titled ‘Kaali’ which would be showing Rajni like in the bygone days gangster avatar. Though the movie is going to be a small movie, budget wise, Rajnikanth’s presence itself is going to make it very big. Earlier Radhika Apte didn’t confirm that she is going tobe superstar’s heroine, but now it’s official.
