Oscar-winning composer A.R Rahman, who is kicked about Tamil film ‘Kaaviya Thalaivan’, about theatre artists of the 20th century, wants to show the film to Iranian director Majid Majidi, with whom Rahman is all set to work on an Iranian film with the director soon.
Recently, renowned Iranian filmmaker, Majid Majidi asked Rahman why Indian movies ape the style evolved in the West. That’s precisely why he said this is the film which he would proudly show him. The film has been creating a buzz on social media, thanks largely to its interesting premise and its music album set to tune by composer A.R. Rahman.
It would be interesting to see what kind of feedback will the film get from the celebrated filmmaker. Rahman is currently busy working on the film’s background score.
