It was after great difficulty that the severed movie relationship between the two warring nations India and Pakistan were restored few years ago. Since then almost all the Indian films have been allowed to have screening their without any restriction.
But for the first time, Pakistan has expressed displeasure over the content of a film from India and has decided to ban it. Even such a decision if fine as few films deemed to be anti-Pakistan have gone that way but this time they have taken an even drastic step. They have decided to ban the films of the star forever in Pakistan.
The banned film is Phantom and it stars Saif Ali Khan in the lead. His scathing comments over the past few weeks on Pakistan, as part of promotions of Phantom have led to this permanent ban. Phantom releases worldwide, except Pakistan, on August 28.
