When the news that Kajal Agarwal has bagged another movie in Bollywood replacing Chitrangada Singh is still trending, there is another news which made headlines. Tapsee Pannu has replaced mega hero’s heroine Yami Goutham in a Bollywood movie to be directed by Sujith Sircar of ‘Madras cafe’ fame. As the director was busy with another project starring Superstar Amitabh Bachan, he had dropped the movie. Hence it went to another director by name Amit Roy who is at present directing Tapsee starrer ‘Running Shaadi.com’.
Once the project went to Amit Roy, he replaced Yami Goutam with Tapsee Pannu. Initially Yami Goutham was finalised to romance Ayushman Khurana. Yami and Ayushman were acclaimed for their onscreen presence in their previous Hindi film ‘Vicky Donar’. Since Yami is replaced and Tapsee is going to romance Ayushman for the untitled film, there lies immense pressure on Tapsee as Yami and Ayushman as a pair already were considered biggest USP of the film. Can Tapsee make the same impact with the hero? B’Town folks are wondering whether Tapsee could anywhere reach the expectations of the audiences.
