Baahubali Vs Vijay PuliHow many scenes did Baahubali have that are done using graphics? It is learnt that there are around 2,000 scenes which are done with Computer Graphics. Indian audiences were awestruck by those splendid scenes and critics praised the movie for its visual effects, such magnificence unseen till date in Indian Cinema.

Going by the revelations of Chimbudevan, the director of Tamil upcoming magnum opus ‘Puli’, this Vijay, Shruti Haasan, Hansika, Sridevi and Sudeep starrer is going to have 2,600 scenes which would be done with computer graphics. That is indeed a lot bigger than the graphic scenes in Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’.

In this regard, ‘Puli’ is certainly bigger than ‘Baahubali’. But that is not the point. How much real will the visual scenes appear on screen will decide the quality of the film. If done better than ‘Baahubali’, these scenes would enhance the experience of watching a technical movie.

Because of the budgetary constraints, ‘Puli’ would now have 2,200 visual effects scenes. Like for ‘Baahubali’, the work is alloted to visual effects teams in different countries. The movie is expected to hit screens in September, and after ‘Baahubali’, comparisons are natural, a better product is anticipated.
