aadi
What is “Gaalipatam” about?
Love marriage versus arranged marriage is what the film is about in short. Galipatam tries to show the modern day relationships futility and finally delivers a message as well.

How is Aadi performance?
Aadi has a confidence presence and his dialogue delivery is an added advantage. The actor this time has put the mass hero image behind and simply did a character. It isn’t a big task as there aren’t that many heavy duty emotional scenes. It is a simple straight forward character devoid of usual masala and the actor did well.

naveen-gandi
Direction by Naveen Gandhi?
Direction by debutant Naveen Gandhi is competent in that he seems to have shown and got what he want. The problem lies in the content itself which explodes is all over the place in second half. With better screenplay and script the director can surely deliver an engaging product in future.

erika-fermendez
How is Erika Fermendez, Kristina Akheeva and other artists performance?
Erica Fernandez makes her debut with this film is Telugu. She has good looks and decent screen presence. There is nothing much to say in terms of action and emotion is taken care of by dubbing. Kristina Akheeva has a smaller role in comparison but she too is registered thanks to her character rather than acting. Rahul Ravindran gets a thankless role which has a silver lining in the end. He is just alright. Sapthagiri once again shines in the few scenes he is present. Actors part of hero gang also have their moments with some well timed punch dialogues. Bhargavi gets an important sequence which she makes countable.

bheems-1
How is Bheems Music and other departments ?
Music by Bheems is good when viewed as part of film along with the background score. Cinematography is decent and the editing is sharp. Choreography of songs is decent and since they were placed neatly they don’t act as speed breakers. Dialogues are an asset as well as minus for the film. Some of the dialogues are razor sharp in wit even though vulgar but few are downright offensive level.

rahul-1
In another universe
The film could have been made devoid of the vulgarity and with lots of polish. Hard hitting dialogues need not be so blunt and harsh lacking any sort of sophistication. And finally the message in the end could be arrived at with much more clarity and not in a hurried lopsided manner.

Did I enjoy it?
Yes , in parts.

Will you recommend it?
Only for the first half.
