In a shocking turn of event, Lok Janashakthi Party Samastpur town President, Umashankar Mishra turned out to be the main accused in the case lodged on circulating vulgar pictures of Union Minister Smriti Irani on WhatsApp messenger. Interestingly, LJP is an ally of the ruling BJP.
These pictures were also sent to some BJP leaders through Mishra’s mobile phone and a BJP leader of the town lodged a police complaint along with all the proofs. Cyber crime cell of Bihar Police registered the case and launched an investigation into the case.
There are demands all over the country from BJP cadre and leaders urging LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan, a union minister, to take strong action against Mishra. Both BJP and LJP are very embarrassed in this issue as it turned out to be an awkward issue between the allies.
