Rajnikanth-Kochadaiiyaan-censor issue

Rajnikanth’s upcoming movie, Kochadaiiyaan’s makers almost got into trouble after reports from few sections of media claimed that they were making changes in the sound department of the movie, after it was granted a ‘U’ by the censor board. The censor board granted a ‘U’ certificate to this movie on March 19. As per the rules, one must only submit the movie to the censor board after the movie is finished completely. And once certified, no one can make any changes in the movie, whatsoever.

So, due to those reports, the censor board has made enquiries on the movie only to learn that all the reports received from the media are false as the makers were working on the 3D and Hindi versions of the film and not 2D. The regional officer of censor board in Chennai said that they did not find anything wrong in the version that got submitted and they also made enquiries due to the reports. But they found out that they were editing 3D and Hindi versions. They formerly submitted the 2D version and that got certified with a ‘U’ grade. They will submit the 3D version again, for censorship once done with their editing and it will get censored, as well.
