Not always the lengthy run time of a film poses problems for the film’s talk. Srimanthudu proved that, if the content is good and intriguing, then the length of a film doesn’t hamper the film’s run at the box-office. For ‘Kick 2’, the length of the film has become one of the issues which posed big problem for the film’s run at box-office.
Even Ravi Teja opined that he was against the run time of his ‘Kick 2’ and post release the film got trimmed by 20 minutes. But for Srimanthudu, it has been the opposite. The makers of the movie had decided to add extra scenes to the already released version to bring back fans to theaters to watch the movie again for the extra footage.
Srimanthudu proves that length isn’t an issue but a big positive if the director and the actors are able to deliver according to the expectations created on the movie. Mahesh’s movie emerged only next to ‘Baahubali’ overtaking ‘Ataarintiki Daaredi’ to the top two position.
