Manchu-vishnu-in-erra-bus-movie review
What is the film about?
Rajesh’s (Manchu Vishnu) only connection with family is his grandfather (Dasari Narayana Rao). Rajesh has a girlfriend Raji (Catherine Tresa) with whom he wants to spend the rest of his life. Unfortunately Raji has problem with grandfather and there comes a situation where Rajesh has to choose between grandfather and girlfriend. Who will he chose? There is also a US ambition for hero. Ultimately where his priorities lie is what the film is about.

How is Manchu Vishnu’s performance?
This is no mass film and Manchu Vishnu for a change tries to play a sophisticated software professional. There is no real change in his performance from any other film of his except for a scene in pre-climax but one appreciate him for trying it out though. It is another matter that he has not succeeded in making an impression.

director-in-erra-bus-movie-review
Direction By Dasari Narayana Rao?
The direction by the veteran director is very old fashioned and much like the character he is portraying in the film that is out of touch with the current generation one gets a similar feeling with his direction. Even the emotional scenes fail to make any connect.

catherine-tresa-in-erra-bus movie review
Catherine Tresa and others performance?
Catherine Tresa has an important role in the basic narrative of the film but there is nothing to say performance wise. Even looks wise she is okay here. Dasari Narayana Rao of course gets to play the most important role in the film. Entire film revolves around him and whatever little good scenes the film has are also on him. He has done better in the past and this is no patch on those acting turns. Nassar is wasted in an inconsequential role. Raghubabu has few scenes and so does Ali but no real impact whatsoever from them.

music-director-chakri-in-errra bus movie review
Chakri and other departments?
Music by Chakri is poor and so is the background music. The less said about other technical departments the better. Dialogues are corny and lack the emotional depth that the film tries so hard to achieve.

Alternative take-of-erra-bus-movie
Alternative take:
This is a very old fashioned tale with an equally predictable screenplay. No one is stopping from making films of this kind but it should be made with the current sensitivity and tastes in mind to appeal.

Did I enjoy it?
No.

Will you recommend it?
No.
