Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is in a hurry to shift as many as departments and their heads to the temporary capital Vijayawada and also formed a three member committee to decide the modus operandi. However the employees have been expressing their inhibitions to shift to Vijayawada. The say there is no enough office space in Vijayawada to work and also the employees are hampered by the high rentals in Vijayawada for immediate relocaton.

It is said that the employees have asked the committee at least a three month prior notice to shift to Vijayawada so that they can make sure their families will not be affected as most of them stay in own houses here. Some of the employees favoured shifting from April 1, 2015 in view of the new academic year so that their children’s education will not be disturbed in the middle. Government may have to work on revising the House Rent Allowances of the employees if they are to shift to Vijayawada. Government plans to relocated over 4000 employees in the first phase which seem to be not easy now.
