KCR-employee-divisionThe Kamalnathan Committee formed to decide up on the division of employees between both the Telugu States had turned down the nativity theory proposed by the Telangana government. The committee has finalized the final guidelines of the employees division based on ‘local status’ which is achieved through seven continuous years of stay or study in any place.

At the same time, the Department of Personnel and Training will also allow the employees to indicate their choice of state to work but the allocation finally will be done in order of seniority as on June 1, 2014. Those who have opted a certain state and are its ‘local candidates’ will be considered for allocation to that state first in order of their seniority.

The committee also recommended to give first priority to the options of Widowed, legally separated and divorced women and single women employees and then couples if working together. Handicapped persons with more than 40% disability and employees who are known to be facing serious medical hardships such as cancer (self or dependent family), open heart, bypass surgery, and kidney transplantation, kidney failure and continuing on dialysis will be allocated according to their choices on special grounds.
