Election Commission of India announced the schedule for Tirupati Bielection. The election will take place on February 13th and the counting will happen on 16th.
The schedule was announced along with election schedule of Delhi a short while ago. The bielection was necessiated by the death of Telugu Desam Party legislator, Venkataramana who passed away due to Heart Stroke.
It is a usual custom that parties cooperate for unanimous election in case bielection is necessiated due to death of a sitting MLA and his kin is contesting in the bielection. Already two bielections happened similarly after 2014 elections.
