The crucial meeting between Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Telangana Rashtra Samiti MPs concluded a short while ago. The MPs reportedly clarified the minister how their government oppose giving Special powers to the governor over the common capital. They told the home minister that giving such powers to Governor will only amounts to curbing the rights of the state government.
TRS MPs also told that Governor can only interfere in the law and order of Hyderabad when the situations are out of hand however there are no such conditions in the capital right now. On the other side, Governor Narasimhan is touring Delhi and giving important reports to the center. He met Home Ministry officials on Wednesday and is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a short while.
