Many times we must have seen a notice displayed in hotels and restaurants ‘Outside Food Not Allowed’. We don’t take it that seriously because we don’t go to a hotel or a restaurant to savour home made delicacies. But for Indian Cricket captain Dhoni, the very compulsion of a star hotel made him angry and leave the hotel for denying him eating home made biryani.
Coming to the point, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, alongwith his team mates checked into a hotel in Hyderabad. His good friend Ambati Rayudu, who hails from Hyderabad sent him home made biryani to relish. But the hotel denied Dhoni the chance of eating that biryani. Angered, Dhoni alongwith his team mates and supporting staff checked out of Grand Kakatiya and shifted to Taj Krishna. The team management (Chennai Super Kings) had to cancel the bookings made earlier because of Dhoni’s decision.
Ambati Rayudu wasn’t present in Hyderabad. Despite this, he saw to that the home made biryani reached his colleagues. The hotel management was ready to allow the team mates to have biryani in their rooms but it was said the Dhoni was adamant to have it in the board rules which is against the etiquette of the hotel. Whatever, like Toofan in a Cup, Dhoni created ‘Tsunami’ for Biryani. Wow! Kudos to Hyderabadi Biryani!
