After tasting some failures Tamil actor Dhanush has finally got one movie that is doing all the talking at the box office. The actor has been getting lots of critical praises for long time but on the box office front he hasn’t been getting the required success that he has been hoping for. The irony here was that in Hindi which isn’t his home industry, the actor made a sensational debut.
All that is a thing of past now as Dhanush has delivered with Velai Illa Pattadhari (VIP). The film which released on Friday has turned out to be the biggest opener for the actor. There were reports about mixed talk on the opening day but even that was put to rest on Monday when the film hold up well. In fact looking at the way the film is progressing at the ticket counter, a big film had to be postponed as well. Not just in Chennai, even in Overseas which is considered as weak performance area for the actor, the collections of the film have been his career best.
Dhanush has two big films lined up next, one in Hindi and one in Tamil, the success of VIP is surely going to be big boost for these films.
