AP_capital-infrastructureCRDA is gearing up to bring a comprehensive Capital City land pooling benefit survey from April first week. This Survey will be conducted by the District Rural Development Agency from the first week of April to find the comprehensive details of individual households including the size, type, social group, ownership and land holding etc.

This survey will enable to find out alternative work for a vast number of landless farm labourers and farmers who had done no other work except farming for decades. Along with a social security allowance of Rs. 2,500 every month, the government is also promising free house sites to poor people and alternative livelihood options.

The survey is divided into nine blocks and will cover details of general educational levels, skill details and occupation of members of the household. The onus will be on taking note of existing level of skills classifying the people into skilled, semi skilled and unskilled which help in chalking out the future plans for making them engaged in some work like carpentry, tailoring, brick unit, construction labour or mechanical or motor repair jobs etc.
