Telangana government has clarified that there is no going back in the decision of imposing entry tax to the commercial vehicles of Andhra Pradesh. It is clear and open that the Tax is aimed at hitting the transport operators of Andhra Pradesh who are the major stake holders of the business in both the Telugu states.
On the other side, common man is getting affected with this decision. For an instance, almost 80% of AP buses have come to a grinding halt from Tuesday midnight troubling the people who have made reservations to come to Hyderabad. Even Telangana people are at receiving end with the prices of Vegetables, fruits and flowers which come from Godavari districts have gone up.
If this decision is not rolled back, it will definitely affect the common people in both the states. The prices of several essential commodities will shoot up significantly in next few days with several commercial vehicles stopped operations
