There is a saying in English that ‘Luck favours only those who dare’. True. There is a regular formula in our films that there is one hero and heroine as lead pair and whose ultimate motive is to end up as a romantic pair. Only a few films depict the relation of the lead pair in different light. The recent Telugu film starring Anjali and Srinivasa Reddy is one of them. Though the duo are the lead pair for the film, there is no romantic connection between them in the film.
Coming to the point, Colors Swathi was the first heroine who the makers approached to play the female lead. But as comedian Srinivasa Reddy is playing the main lead she downrightly declined the offer according to the birdies. Luck favoured Anjali, who accepted to do the film. The film went on to score successful talk at the box-office. And thus Colors Swati who is struggling to score a hit in Tollywood had missed a golden chance in her mother tongue.
