Actor cum politician Chiranjeevi faced a very embarrassing situation in Tirupati this morning. Chiranjeevi landed at Renigunta Airport to go to Kadapa for the unveiling of Sri Krishnadevaraya statue there. As usually fans came in good number to welcome Chiranjeevi at the airport.
Suddenly a man came out of the crowd and questioned what he did to Tirupati as MLA. Chiranjeevi was visibly embarrassed and was struggling for answer. It was then his security responded immediately and pushed the man away.
Chiranjeevi was elected as MLA from Tirupati in 2009 elections from his Prajarajyam Party. However he later merged the party in to Congress. He resigned for his MLA seat and nominated to Rajyasabha later made Union Minister in UPA government. Following the miserable defeat of Congress in recent elections, Chiranjeevi is slowly getting back to films. His 150th film was recently announced and will go on floors from August.
