When the film Govindudu Andari Vadele was announced, it immediately became the talk of the town due to its casting. The film when announced was to star Venkatesh and Ram Charan together for the first time and there were even reports of veteran actor Krishna playing the role of grandfather. However by the time the film came onto sets many changes had occurred the biggest of which was Venkatesh not being part of the film. It lead to many rumours with none having a clarity on it.
Now finally we hear directly from the mouth of Venkatesh regarding the last minute decision to not be part of the film. The actor says that he was very much happy with the script but everyone felt that the role offered to him in the film didn’t go with his stature, it was too small. It is because of this reason everyone collectively agreed to the decision of Venkatesh not being part of the movie. He clarified that there were never issues with the script and expressed confidence that it would be a great film. After Venkatesh declined to be part of the film, Srikanth was roped in his place.
