Chandrababu plans next Assembly session in AP

Chandrababu Naidu has decided to instill confidence in people on running the administration within the state itself. There are several practical problems for shifting the various department or the Chief Minister’s office to Vijayawada immediately. So Naidu has decided to convene the winter session of Assembly in Andhra Pradesh to win the people’s confidence. It is said that the conference hall of the Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) campus will be used for the session which begins from December 4th.

Sources say that the instructions have gone to the officials regarding the same and they are looking at the possibilities. The university is adjacent to the national highway and is just 20 km from Vijayawada and 40 km from Gannavaram airport, hence it will be very much accessible for all the MLAs, so Chandrababu has chosen it for the Assembly session. This move will send a signal to the people that the government wants to relocate from Hyderabad as quickly as possible. Currently AP has the provision of using the old assembly building in Hyderabad for their Assembly session until Hyderabad seizes to be the common capital of both the states.
