Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu in his statement to Assembly over the capital mentioned that YSR Congress wants the state capital in Pulivendhula or Edupulapaya for which Jagan objected that Chandra Babu is resorting to false propaganda on him. For which AP CM retorted that Late YSR did the same with IIIT sanctioning it to his Edupulapaya.Jagan Mohan Reddy objected to the remark and sang praises of his father who tried to encourage rural students with IIIT and advised Chandra Babu Naidu to learn the concept of IIIT before commenting unnecessarily.
Chandra Babu Naidu broke in to laughter over Jagan’s remark and said, “Meeru Thathaku Daggulu nerpalani chusthunnaru. It is me who started the concept of IIIT first in the entire country to make Hyderabad an IT Knowledge hub. It is known that you (Jagan) are a first time MLA and it is better you get prepared before you talk something. I am not against to IIIT in Edupulapaya but oppose the attempts to make it head quarters in YSR’s regime”.
