Center treat AP with special concern - NaiduAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had urged the central government to treat Andhra Pradesh with special concern. Speaking at TDP AP state-wide party meeting in Vijayawada, Naidu said, “Center is seeing Special Status issue only on 14th Finance commission recommendations. AP should be treated with special concern. The state is forced to troubles with illogical bifurcation”.

Naidu requested the center to help until level playing field with neighbouring states is achieved. He urged party leaders to strive for the Special Status until it is accorded. The Special Status issue is creating a storm in Andhra Pradesh after the center confirmed on the floor of Loksabha that no other state will be given special category status going further.

The opposition YSR Congress and Left parties in Andhra Pradesh are gearing up for agitations for the Special Status. Jagan has planned a dharna on August 10th at Jantar Mantar, Delhi over the issue.
