Andhra Pradesh government has geared up for its uninterrupted power supply promise from October 2nd. The state was selected by the Union government for the pilot project of 24 hours power supply. Accordingly, the government has prepared a blue print regarding how to carry out the project. Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu in his recent visit to Delhi demonstrated the blue print to Power Minister Piyush Goyal who was reportedly very impressed.

Naidu is also planning to computerize 9,000 feeders of AP in a month’s time so that the power supply can be monitored from anywhere. The state from October 2nd will be providing round the clock power for consumers and will also enhance power available to the agriculture sector from seven hours to nine hours. Similarly, industries will get quality power supply with IT industries being brought in to essential services which will have uninterrupted power.
