Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has prepared a blue print for the Electronics, IT and e-governance development in the state. Telangana government is keen on making ‘Made in Telangana’ brand in the Electronics segment and to counter it, Chandra Babu has come up with promotion idea of ‘Made in India’ brand. The electronics policy targets to attract investments up to Rs 50,000 crore and generate employment of about four lakh in the state by the year 2020 by setting up 20 Electronic Manufacturing Clusters (EMCs) and 200 industries across the state.
The IT policy will involve two parts – The first part will involve in the study of the global requirements of the IT and electronics industry and recommend the necessary changes in the course curriculum and the second mission is to evolve 18 industry identified policies & frameworks for the growth of the IT industry in the state.
