Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar recently suffered at the hands of cyber crime on her way home after a long day of shooting. The actress of ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ fame was conned when she was trying to withdraw money from an ATM machine in Kharghar.
The actress had swiped her card at the ATM machine, which was in the premises of a mall, and was then surrounded by some people who told her that the machine was not working. Swara then left without making any transactions. However, the actress received a message as she got in her car telling her otherwise. It said that an amount of Rs 20,000 was debited from her bank account.
She checked the ATM again only to discover that it was, in fact, working and then lodged all the complaints. The thing that baffled the actress was that she was robbed even though she hadn’t entered her PIN. Bhaskar is currently working on ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ featuring actors Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor.
