Like father like daughter. Shruti Haasan, the light eyed beauty of film industry is all multi-faceted talent like her revered father, the great Kamal Haasan; singing, acting, composing music, dancing etc etc. Though she is perceiving acting very seriously juggling between various film industries both North and South, whenever a different oppurtunity came her way, she enviously grabbed the offer. But the latest offer she grabbed is making singers many envy her luck.
She got a rare oppurtunity to sing a song composed by none other than maestro Ilayaraja. The maestro is presently rendering music for a Bollywood movie titled ‘Shamitaab’ starring Amitabh Bachan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan (Shruti Haasan’s younger sister). This movie also happens to be the debut movie of Akshara Haasan. Shruti who is professionally trained as a singer made her singing debut at the age of six for Kamal’s movie ‘Thevar Magan’. And that also happened to be in maestro Ilayaraja’s music direction. Blessed indeed!
