The combination of some superstars and some ace film makers looks like a dream combination as we know the wonders they could create, given that they get a chance to work together. Superstar Rajnikanth and Mani Ratnam is one such combination which created celluloid magic in ‘Dalapathi’.
If the film makers wants to make a biopic on the superstar, is it posiible? ‘Yes’, says Mani Ratnam. But he has doubts if he can find someone who can essay the role of the superstar in the biopic. His doubt is justified. Rajni’s style and presence on screen isn’t easy to dupe.
However the film maker finds it a good idea to make a biopic on Rajni, whose talent as an actor is hidden behind his star image. He is happy to bring out that actor in ‘Dalapathy’.
