One of the popular and veteran director of Tamil films was in for a shock when the trailer of his much awaited film Aranmanai showed up online yesterday. It is a horror comedy starring three hot heroines Hansika, Andrea Jeremiah and Lakshmi Rai. The first look got everyone curios and the director promised it would have excellent visual effects as well. However the promo releases today was extremely poor on the effects and looked tacky. Expectedly it drew lots of flak as a result.
Popular actress Kushboo and wife of director Sunder C immediately took to social networking site and clarified that the trailer which has been released is an unfinished one. Even the director wasn’t aware that it was getting released and he is upset at it being released in this fashion, she said. There is lot is unfinished work that needs to be done to get the final product. Once It’s done it would be stunning as the director says, she promised.
Keeping the genre of horror comedy and casting in mind the makers have planned to release the film in Telugu as well. We hope that the issues between the director and the producers is settled soon and one gets to see the final product as the director has desired it to be.
