Central-government-help-to-APCentral government had sanctioned some funds to the truncated Andhra Pradesh in the last day of the financial year. Center so far had announced 1900 Crore for Andhra Pradesh and on the last day it had sanctioned 2300 Crore more. This 2300 Crore is sanctioned to coverup the deficit budget of the state which is pegged at 14242 Crores. So the Center had made up 16% of the deficit.

Along with this 1500 for the Capital construction is a significant amount for now. The Center also released the 250 Crore for Polavaram project allotted in 2014-15, 350 Crore for the seven backward districts in the state and 100 Crore for Godavari Pushkaralu

The Center also cleared various routine allocations to the state. CST Arrears of 610 Crore, 2377 Crore of 13th Finance Commission recommendations, 72.6 for drinking water facilies in rural areas. The Center also gave the state a loan of 549 Crore as Small Saving Fund which will attract 8.5% interest.
