It is not something that we see often, a star from previous generation beating a current generation star but that is exactly what has happened. In the battle of TRP’s Nandamuri Balakrishna has beaten the likes of Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu. Among the recent airings of films of these stars Balakrishna starrer Legend has got the highest TRP’s.
This incidentally is also a new record for Balakrishna as far as the ratings go. In defense of Charan and Mahesh it can be said that they had to compete with each other for views while simultaneously battling to hold attention of viewer from swearing in ceremony of AP’s first CM. Legend had no such competition and was the solo event movie of the weekend on Television. Whatever it is, once again it has been proved that when the right content is presented, past record and age doesn’t matter for the viewers to see a top hero’s film.
