Here is a bad news for Andhra Pradesh people. The Master Plan of the Capital which is being prepared by the Singapore Experts Team may be delayed by a month or so. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is currently in Singapore to review the progress.
It is said that Naidu had suggested some changes in the Master Plan and the experts team had sought four to six weeks time to make them. In such case, the Master Plan which was supposed to be delivered by May end, will also get pushed back further. Chandrababu had directed the state officials to stay in touch with the Singapore team to complete the Master plan as soon as possible.
On the other side, Andhra Pradesh government wants to complete the Master Plan as soon as possible and put it on public domain so that people will appreciate it and as well as the opposition parties will be cornered. It is known that Naidu has promised a World Class Capital for the state after the bifurcation. TDP’s 2019 prospects will largely depend on fulfilling this promise.
