The way things have shaped up and unfolded for films Baahubali and Srimanthudu there is nothing in common with them and both were clearly launched at different points. But call it destiny or whatever both the films in the final moments are crossing each other’s path with one getting the advantage over the other due to the hype.
The hyped film is obviously SS Rajamouli directed period piece Baahubali with Prabhas starring in it. The first time a clash of sorts came with both the films were rumored to have their first looks released for Shiva Rathri festival. Ever since then, these two films have been intertwined with each other on various issues like the release date, for example.
Today we had another incident where two are going to be in direct clash with each other. It is a common knowledge to all Telugu cinema lovers that Superstar Mahesh Babu has been unveiling a teaser or first look of his film in production on May 31 which happens to be birthday of his father Krishna. Today director SS Rajamouli announced that the first trailer of Baahubali would be unveiled on the same day.
If that were to happen don’t we all know what would be the likely outcome? Strange co-incidence or not, Baahubali with its planning is clearly stealing Superstar’s thunder. Let’s see what would be the reaction from the Superstar’s camp and would they go ahead with the tradition or not.
