Bollywood star film maker cum producer Karan Johar announced the release date of ‘Baahubali The Beginning’ as July 10, leading to speculations that he dictated the release of the magnum opus while it should be the producers of the original who are expected to do it. It’s a known fact that Karan Johar bought the Hindi rights of Rajamouli’s movie.
Shobu Yarlagadda, who is one of the producers of ‘Baahubali’ says that Karan Johar isn’t responsible for shifting the release date but it’s due to delay in the visual effects work for the film. Initially the release date was announced as May 15 by the makers of the original but the postponed date July 10 was announced by Karan Johar leading to the reports on Johar’s supremacy as deciding factor.
