Harsha Vardhan Rane Avunu 2 ReviewWhat is the film about?
The ghost from the previous part comes again to resume the unfinished business.

How is Harsha Vardhan Rane’s performance?
Harshavardhan has a likeable personality and looks the part he is given. There is nothing really for him to do performance wise except for few moments in the climax. He did those parts decently. Nothing else to say besides that.

Ravi Babu Avunu 2 ReviewDirection By Ravibabu?
Direction by Ravi Babu is getting repetitive, predictable and weak just like the characters he is populating his movie world with. They no longer hold any freshness or offer any surprises. There few moments here and there that are well set up but nothing beyond the usual from the maker. Another disappointing fare from the director without any doubt.

Poorna Avunu 2 Reviewpoorna, Gayathri Bhargavi and others performance?
Poorna seems to be living the Mohini character with great dedication. Although new for the actress to do from the first part she nonetheless once again sinks into the role. No special moments worth mentioning though. There are few others characters played by Ravi Varma, Sanjjana etc among them only Ravi Varma stands out mainly due to his irritating act.

Sekhar Chandra Avunu 2 ReviewMusic and other departments?
Background score with all its predictable screechy shouts and noises add no spice to the proceedings which are highly essential in films like these. Cinematography is okay. Editing should have been even more sharp. Dialogues gives an unintentional comic vibe throughout.

Highlights Avunu 2 ReviewHighlights?
Few predictable but well set moments.
Short length.

Drawbacks?
Tacky and utterly predictable premise.
Equally tacky execution.
First half.

Drawbacks Avunu 2 ReviewAlternative take:
Given the premise one feels there is absolutely no necessity to make a second part. But then even with what they had they could have achieved so much more had more thought been put on the screenplay. Three fourths of the film looks wasted completely when we see where we arrive at in pre-climax. An alternative take would be to arrive at this point much much earlier and proceed till midnight from then on.

Did I enjoy it?
No.

Will you recommend it?
No.
