Real-Estate-In-Vijayawada

The Siva Rama Krishnan committee formed to suggest the best option of Andhra Pradesh state capital is all set to submit its report by the end of August. The committee had toured various places in the 13 districts of the state and had studied the factors needed to make a good capital. The committee recently took Andhra Pradesh government’s opinion too in this aspect. It is said that Minister P.Narayana has informed the committee that government is in favour of capital between Vijayawada and Guntur as the place will be equidistant from all the districts of the state. More over there is enough water resources available there to cater the needs of the capital.

Vishakapatnam and Ongole are the other cities in race for the state capital. But Vishakapatnam is too far for Rayalaseema districts and Ongole has water scarcity despite having abundant government lands. The new capital building will be a challenge for Chandra Babu Naidu’s government. Building such a capital on par with Hyderabad will cost about five lakh crore rupees. And it has to be seen how far the center will help with funding even though the state division bill totally entrusts the responsibility of capital building to the Central government.
