ap to unleash land acquisition from farmersAndhra Pradesh government is gearing up to complete the collection of land for the upcoming state capital. According to the government, there are 3000 acres needed to be collected through Land Acquisition. This land belongs to farmers who did not take part in land pooling and the farmers who went to court even after giving agreement to the land pooling.

CRDA officials are instructed to compile all the details of all the necessary lands by 10th of this month. The exact figure to be acquired will be arrived at after this exercise. The government will issue notification for the Land Acquisition by 14th of this month.

Most of these lands are along the banks of Krishna River. The government had a target of pooling 2989 acres from Tadepalli-1, Vundavalli and Penumaka villages but only managed 1100 acres through land pooling. There are some lands to be acquired in Nidamarru, Bethapudi and Errablem. 500 acres arte to be acquired from Rayapudi, Mandhadam, Velagapudi and Lingayapalem.
