Andhra Pradesh government has entered in to a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Information Technology giant, Google. The software giant will be digitizing Andhra Pradesh state as a part of this project by expanding Internet connectivity to all the places. Google will also try to explore and market online various activities and products of Self Help Groups. Government will be forming a corpus fund for the project.
Google MD Rajan Anandan signed the MOU with the government. Rajan Anandan appreciate Chandrababu’s vision in IT and commended that AP is the only state to have a comprehensive IT & Electronics policy outside of the Central Government’s initiative. AP also entered in to various agreements with companies like Wipro, TechMahindra, Sameer etc. Representatives of about 400 companies attend the event in Vishakapatnam.
