AP capital near mangalagiri, guntur

Here is a disappointing news for the people of Vijayawada. The next capital of Andhra Pradesh will be more towards Guntur. According to the reliable sources in the government, the capital will be coming up at Prakasam Barrage back waters more towards 25-30 Kms in Guntur district. Prakasam Barrage, Mangalagiri Autonagar (Guntur district), Dondapaadu village (Guntur district) and Krishna river bank will be the four boundaries of the capital.

With this the capital will be falling more in to the Guntur district but is certainly in the surroundings of Vijayawada as previously announced by the government. It is said that Government is planning to acquire 50000 acres. The farmers and land owners of Guntur are more flexible for land acquisition than that of Krishna district. So government has come to this decision. Government is planning to build 4-lane and 6-lane bridges to connect the capital with the other side of Krishna River. This will ease the distance between Krishna district and the capital. Government will be giving a share in developed lands as well as money according to market value to the land giving farmers. One government job per family will also be provided in the new capital.
