ANR National Award which is given to people with immense and unparalleled contribution to Indian Film Industry has chosen to bestow this honour to Amitabh Bachchan this year. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Reddy is going to be the chief guest for this award ceremony.
This is the first year of awards after the death of legend Akkineni Nageshwara Rao. Keeping this in mind Akkineni family is planning to make this event a memorable one for all concerned. The event is going to happen on December 27 and special programme has been planned for the same.
In the past people like Dev Anand, Shyam Benegal, K Balachander, Lata Mangeshkar, Shabana Azmi, Anjali Devi, Vyjayanthi Mala and Hema Malini have won this award. It is surely a great honour and we look forward to this event.
