With the high court giving green signal for the bielection in Allagadda, election commission has began work on conducting the election. YSR Congress will be fielding Akhila Priya, daughter of Late Shoba Nagi Reddy from the seat. Congress party which currently has no representation in Assembly will try its luck once again by contesting here. The movie is already confirmed PCC President Raghuveera Reddy. On the other side, every one are eagerly waiting to see the decision of ruling TDP now.
YSR Congress did not contest in recent Nandigama bielection which was facilitated due to the death of the sitting member and now the party wants TDP to replicate the same. The ruling party is tempted to contest and try improving its tally but at the same time do not want to be in the bad books of the people. It is known that YSR Congress MLA candidate Shoba Nagi Reddy expired in a road accident before the election. Since the time of withdrawal is over, he name remained on the EVMs. Election Commission had declared that they will be holding a bi-election if Shoba Nagi Reddy wins. Finally YSR Congress won and the bi-election became inevitable.
