rahul-ravindran-in-ala-ela-movie review
What is the film about?
Karthik (Rahul Ravindran) plans a trip to a place in East Godavari with his friends in the guise of a road trip to learn about his would be. What he discovers there and what happens in the end is what the film is all about.

How is Rahul Ravindran performance?
Rahul Ravindran is a perfect cast for the role. His non heroic regular guy presence perfectly suits the happenings of the film. Some of the scenes make good use of his average-Joe feature with hilarious effect. So it’s more of the situations and dialogues that his actual performance that registers here.

Direction By Aneesh Krishna ?
Director Aneesh Krishna has executed individual scenes well but as a complete film and maintaining of a strong narrative goes, he fails. The film moves from one scene to other in a disjointed sort of way with comedy being the only adhering factor.

khushi-in-ala-ela-movie-review
Khushi, Heeba Patel and others performance?
Heeba Patel has the best role among the three female leads as she gets some key moments in the overall film. She is decent at best. Bhanu Sri Mehra seems to be enjoying what she is doing on screen and hence despite less screen time she makes an impression. Khusi is just sidelined. Vennela Kishore and Shaani Salmaan as part of troika with Rahul are riot. They have chemistry together and this chemistry coupled with some hilarious dialogues gives the film its entertainment. Others have little to no impact.

bheems Music and other departments?
Music by Bheems is pretty average stuff. Even the background score falls in the same category for most part of the film. Editing is bad at times. Cinematography is okay. Dialogues are a major asset for the film and they keep coming till the end of the film whatever the context may be.

Alternative take:
The fun element was good and the chemistry between the male leads was superb. With such camaraderie they could have fleshed out the second act of the film in a better way. It would have really improved the overall product.

Did I enjoy it?
Yes, the comedy parts.

Will you recommend it?
Yes, but be warned of the silliness and lack of story.
