After Pepsi, Naidu targets Coca-Cola!The biggest Manufacturing plant of Pepsi in India recently became functional in Sri City of Andhra Pradesh. And now the state Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had shifted his focus on to bringing Coca-Cola to the state. The beverages giant was allotted 71.34 acres of land by Tamil Nadu government.

But recently it has cancelled the allotment stating non-compliance of terms and conditions of allotment order / lease deed. Actually the deal is cancelled due to a spate of protests from the locals and farmers in the area, who feared groundwater depletion and discharge into the water courses.

And now Naidu’s team sprung in to action and is negotiating with Coca-Cola to come to Sri City. Except for the close presence of Pepsi plant, Coca-Cola seem to have no issues in coming to AP. The plant comes with a proposed investment of Rs 500 crore and a promise to create 10000 direct or indirect employment.
