Once there was a time when most of the Bollywood hit movies were imported to Tollwood and remade here. But recently the trend has changed and many Tollywood movies are making their way to B’Town to be remade. Especially Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar seem to be keenly on look out for a proper masala movie from South. But till date, the industry hit of Tollywood ‘Atharintiki Daredi’ didn’t go for a remake.
However it was earlier reported that the makers of AD are keen on the remake and they are seriously planning to remake it in Hindi since the concept has a universal appeal. News afresh, producer BVSN Prasad’s son Bapineedu alongwith his friend met Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan to discuss on the remake of AD. Since Shahrukh Khan is the only top hero who suits best for soft family entertainers, the makers want him to play Pawan Kalyan’s role. Nothing is finalised yet. But according to the sources, the remake might go on sets by 2016 and before that it would be decided who might don the director’s hat.
