Telangana ACB had started collecting voice samples in the Cash for Vote scam. The ACB asked Telangana Speaker to give the voice samples of TDP MLAs – Revanth Reddy and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah.
Similarly, ACB also issued notices to three news channels to give the voice samples of Sebastian, Jimmy, Matthiah. ACB had taken this route as it suspects the accused to reject or delay their voice samples. There is also a possibility of them going to court and get stay.
It is interesting to note that ACB had sought voice samples of Sandra Venkata Veeraiah whose name did not figure in the charge sheet in this case. But they did not seek the voice samples of Chandrababu Naidu who they allege as ‘Boss’ in this episode.
