After setting historical numbers for premieres Aagadu is now going after new milestones, the fastest Million at box office and opening weekend record. First of these two is almost achieved at the end of the day 1 as so far only from reported screens the film has collected $924 K. With few more screens to be added this number is expected to cross the Million mark, according to trade.
The Friday collections for the film that have been reported so far for the film stand at $391 K which suggests a drop for sure after the stupendous premiere numbers. Whether this is due to the massive premieres or due to word of mouth will be known by second day numbers in US. Leaving the issue of talk aside this is the fourth Mahesh Babu film to get to the Million mark in US. Also this is the third film of director Srinu Vytla to get to the Million as well. This performance therefore takes both the actor and director ahead, big time, from the rest of competitors in Telugu cinema as far as number of Million dollar movies are concerned.
